We offer a wide variety of services to support you, your student, and schools -whether your new to special education services, have been receiving services and would like a consult, we are here to help. Below is a list of the services that are offered.
We also offer a sliding scale for families in need.

Services Offered
Initial Consultation Services (15 minutes - FREE of cost)
Feeling overwhelmed, confused, or unsure how to support your child? You’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
This consultation is a starting point where we take the time to understand your concerns, answer your questions, and help you figure out next steps with clarity and confidence.
Families often reach out when:
They suspect their child may need additional support or evaluation
They’ve received an IEP or evaluation and don’t understand it
They are unsure how to navigate the IEP process
They are receiving frequent calls from school and feel stuck
They are frustrated with communication or lack of progress
They are considering legal support but want guidance first
If we’re not the right fit, we will always help connect you to trusted resources. Our goal is to make sure you feel supported—no matter what.
Understanding Your Child’s Needs - $150
IEP meetings can feel rushed, overwhelming, and full of unfamiliar language. This service gives you the time and space to truly understand your child’s needs.
We will review your child’s documents together and break everything down in a clear, supportive way—so you feel confident, informed, and ready to advocate for your child moving forward.
Initial IEP Meeting Support - $400
If your child is being evaluated or you’ve received an initial evaluation report, this can feel like a lot to process.
We will guide you through:
What the evaluation means
What to expect in your first IEP meeting
Key documents and terminology
Questions to ask and supports to consider
Our goal is to help you walk into your first meeting feeling prepared, confident, and supported.
*This service does not include in-person or virtual support during the initial IEP meeting.
Annual IEP Meeting Support - $250
Annual IEP meetings are an important opportunity to reflect, adjust, and advocate for the supports of your child to ensure they are on the path towards growth and success — but many parents feel unsure how to best prepare or even what to expect.
With this service, we will:
Review your child’s current educational documents and progress
Help you identify concerns and goals
Prepare questions and talking points
Meet with you virtually to build your confidence before the meeting
Our goal with this service is that you’ll walk in to your annual IEP meeting with confidence, having a better understanding of your child’s needs, what to expect, and what questions to ask!
*This service does not include in-person or virtual support during the annual IEP meeting.
IEP Meeting Support (in person attendance) - $150/hr
You don’t have to attend important school meetings alone.
We can join your IEP meeting (virtually or in person) to:
Provide real-time support and guidance
Help clarify information
Advocate for your child’s needs
Support communication between you and the school
This service can be used for annual meetings, initial meetings, or IEP reconvenes. Clients who select this service, had already had their child’s documents reviewed and have met with the Rooted in Advocacy Team.
Behavior Support Plan Services - $150
If your child is struggling behaviorally at school—or you’re receiving frequent calls home—it can feel stressful for everyone involved.
We will help you:
Understand your child’s behavior plan
Identify what may be missing or unclear
Discuss strategies that support consistency between home and school
Our goal is to create more stability, understanding, and success for your child.
Transition Support Services - $200
Transitions can feel uncertain—especially when your child is moving beyond the traditional school system.
We support families with:
Transition planning within the IEP
Preparing for life after high school
Navigating college supports or adult services
We help you understand your options and plan next steps with confidence.
Written Communication Support - $50
Knowing what to say- and how to say it- can make a big difference, especially when it comes to expressing concerns, frustrations, or even general inquiries.
We will help you draft/review emails and communication to ensure your message is to the school is:
Clear
Professional
Effective
Solutions-focused
This service helps you feel confident communicating with your child’s school.
Meditation Support - $200
If communication with your child’s school feels tense, frustrating, or unproductive, we are here to help.
We will:
Listen to your concerns
Review relevant documents
Help facilitate clearer, more productive communication
Work toward solutions that support your child
This is often a helpful and more accessible step before pursuing legal action.
School Meditation Support - $250/hr
When communication between schools and families becomes challenging, having a neutral third party can make a meaningful difference, and we’re here to help.
We support schools by:
Helping facilitate clear, respectful communication
Providing an outside perspective
Supporting solutions that prioritize the student
Our goal is to help rebuild trust and create a more collaborative environment.
Monthly Membership Support - $50/month
Support doesn’t end after one meeting—IEPs grow and change as your child does.
This monthly support option includes:
A scheduled monthly check-in
Ongoing guidance and support
Access to resources and updates
This is a great option for families who want consistent support throughout the year.
