Supporting Families through the Special Education Process

Empowering parents to advocate for their children with confidence

Your child is full of potential - let’s help them reach it

Our mission is to empower families and schools with the knowledge and support they need to navigate the special education system, while helping their child reach their full potential. As former educators, we know how foreign, frustrating, and overwhelming the world of special education can feel. We believe that every child is capable of growth and success, and are committed to helping parents become confident advocates, ensuring every child has the opportunity to reach their highest potential in order to thrive and find their unique path to independence, no matter what stage in life they are in.

Wondering if you are in the right place? If you can relate to any of these statements below, we’re here to help!

  • Your child is struggling in school or seems to be behind developmentally, and you don’t know where to start

  • Your child has an IEP or 504 plan already and it feels foreign to you

  • Your child is being re-evaluated or has received a medical diagnosis and doctors encouraged you to reach out to the school, but you aren’t sure what to do

  • Getting your child to school is a daily battle and they seem to have anxiety about going

  • You’re new to the special education process and you’re extremely overwhelmed

  • You’re getting constant phone calls from school

  • Your child is not making progress

  • Your child is transitioning out of the traditional school system into college or an adult program, and you need support

  • You’re looking for additional resources for your child - whether it is a tutor, after school program, etc.

  • You’re frustrated with the school and considering seeking legal advice, but not ready to commit to legal fees and would like an alternative level of support
